I had the pleasurable experience of speaking with Zoe Jackson-Jarra this evening regarding her past, present, and future vision for her experiences with iFest. Her family has been involved with the 42-year old tradition for the past 19 years and she has brought the fashion for the past two. She saw a missing element and provided "fashion with a purpose." Along with her team, she composes themes for the iFest and works with fabulous designers and boutiques that truly see fashion for the art form that it is. Zoe's vision for tomorrow's show are to bring a "different aesthetic with androgyny and Mediterranean tones." She is highlighting Andre Rideaux and Solo Mia 2315. Last weekend she featured Melodrama Boutique with Titanic cruise styles and Sunday, she will feature Cache Designs with an edgy, couture, African motif.
Zoe is an artist through and through. Her production company, Chrizcera Int'l oversees production for musical, fashion, and arts as a whole on display. Zoe believes that there is "something in fashion for everyone. It is art and an important part of Houston prosperity and job creation." She promises that her productions with iFest will not be limited because we are outside. Attendees will see the full on fabulosity of the features. Her boutique, Fashion Plate Lifestyle, is in the Montrose area and offers unique, beautifully made garments. It is by appointment only which you may book by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
